Art expresses freedom for humankind. It is a celebration of freedom too. It is with this view that the Stainless Art Gallery has showcased ‘A 100 Many-Splendoured Things’, a vast spectrum of one hundred works by eminent as well as young artists of India. Artworks arranged herein comprise almost all contemporary art forms from paintings, sculptures, etchings, prints post-modern forms such as installations and digital art. This creative melange intends to underline the ‘new art experience’ that has emerged in Indian art in recent times. Hence, we have a vast bouquet of senior artists who have contributed to Indian art in a significant way as well as members of later generations who have created a niche for themselves in the art world. With a view to highlighting the latest creative expressions, the works of the younger generation also find ample space in this exhibition.
