“Aarambh Ke Gyarah Chitr”- is a painting exhibition based on the book – “Aarambh Ki Gyarah Kahaniyan”- which is a collection of eleven stories in fiction written by Alexshendra Venus Bakshi. The eleven stories have been brought upon canvas by Delhi based artist Ankur Rana. The collection brings out the different facets of human nature.
The paintings in this exhibition exuberantly depict on the dimension of canvas -the theme and the contents of the book “Aarambh Ki Gyrah kahaniyan” and in doing so is a bold signature of an inter–disciplinary leap of Art and Literature and therefore is a stage forward towards sculpting a new fragrance in the expression of thoughts.
As an artist Ankur Rana believe that the fusion of creative mediums is a wonderful way to explore visual sensibilities, and here we have “Art” with “Literature”. As times change visual sensibilities also evolves. We interact with various visuals in our day to day lives – written form, pictures, words and music, visual references we interact with are way too many. As an artist it is at times a real tough choice to make. The chemistry has been there since the dawn of time – the time of cave paintings, but now the expressions have changed and so have the experiences.
